We are Les Succari, a woodworking company based in Penang, Malaysia, at 24B, Lebuh Macallum, Georgetown. We are a small team of passionate woodworkers & designers with shared interests toward crafting fine woodwork pieces that spark conversation, hold memories, and can withstand the test of time.
We build our pieces with absolute pride! At Les Succari Enterprise, we believe in creating pieces that last for generations, using ethically sourced materials, and leaving no waste in every piece of wood we use.
From concept to paper, to the finished piece right at your doorstep, every piece made is lovingly crafted with the best interest that fits our client’s vision & budget.
ABOUT SAMI SUCCARI, FOUNDER
With a passion for craftsmanship and beautiful creations, the love for woodwork came easily to Succari who hails from Damascus, Syria. Having lived in Malaysia for over 10 years, he found a home in Penang where he worked with Master Craftsman, Arthur Lamon as an apprentice where they worked on the restoration of a heritage house in Georgetown, Penang.
During his time as an apprentice, Succari learned the fundamentals of woodworking and soon began to create pieces of his own before eventually moving on to taking projects of his own after Lamon has left the country.
Throughout his career as a craftsman, Succari continues to hone his skills as a woodworker. His passion towards every piece is evident from the fine joinery, to the detailed carvings, as well as his extensive knowledge of every piece of wood, tools and its uses.
With 5 years of experience in his career as a woodworker, you can trust that every piece that comes from him is in good hands.
